Screen doors were common features on historic homes in Florida, taking advantage of cooling breezes in the days before air conditioning and adding an attractive entry feature.
Historic Shed offers authentic wood screen doors that can be customized for your particular building style whether it be Craftsman, Mission, Victorian or a simple vernacular adaptation. Our traditional screen doors are heavy duty and assembled with durable joinery techniques. Historically appropriate hardware is available, consisting of self-closing hinges and knob and latch. Our wood screen doors are primed and painted to your color specifications or can be left unfinished. Several screening options are available for your home renovation project. Installation is also available for all Historic Shed products.
